Recently, I attended an event at the Hockey Hall of Fame. That got me wondering, how did Toronto end up hosting this cool attraction? The answer seemed obvious (we love hockey more than anyone else). In fact, sometimes the obvious answer is the right one. Hockey was invented in Kingston, and the initial plans were for the HHOF to be located there; however, construction delays led to frustration, opening the door to Toronto to prove that our enthusiasm would never fade. It seems that we were very convincing. It opened in 1961 and we've loved it ever since.
